Copperbelt Province

Copperbelt Province in Zambia encompasses the mineral-rich Copperbelt as well as farming and bush areas to the south, sharing a border with the Haut-Katanga province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The province includes key towns like Kitwe, Ndola, Mufulira, Luanshya, Chingola, Kalulushi, and Chililabombwe, connected by road and rail links extending into Lubumbashi. With an average elevation of 1,216 meters, Ndola serves as the capital of this approximately 31,328 square kilometres province, which is the second smallest in the country. It is bordered by Central Province to the south, North-Western Province to the west, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the north. The administrative layout comprises ten districts, encompassing urban and rural areas, including Ndola, Kitwe, Mufulira, Chingola, Chililabombwe, Kalulushi, Luanshya, Lufwanyama, Mpongwe, and Masaiti.
